Wyoming Supreme Court Favorable Decision

Adam Goldstein, Cati Shadakofsky and Nick Klann recently received a favorable decision from the Wyoming Supreme Court. The case involved a Plaintiff who suffered catastrophic injuries when she fell through the ceiling at a mall. She sought $10,000,000 in damages. White and Steele defended the mall’s maintenance company. The trial court granted summary judgment and dismissed the claims against the maintenance company, finding that the maintenance company did not owe a duty to the Plaintiff, and that it was not in a joint enterprise with the building owner and property manager. The Plaintiff appealed to the Wyoming Supreme Court, and the Wyoming Supreme Court recently affirmed the trial court’s decision.
