The 2021 Wyoming Claims Seminar was held virtually on Friday, February 19, 2021.  The seminar is designed to introduce all levels of insurance claim handlers to various issues in claims handling, with a focus on tips and tools for evaluating claims and identifying potential problems early in the process.  Our agenda this year included various topics such as COVID litigation preview; telemedicine independent medical evaluations; Wyoming claims handling update, navigating regulations and bad faith pitfalls; and balanced billing for the adjustment of motor vehicles or trailer damage claims.

The 2020 Wyoming Claims Seminar was held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton located in Aurora, Colorado.  The seminar is designed to introduce all levels of insurance claim handlers to various issues in claims handling, with a focus on tips and tools for evaluating claims and identifying potential problems early in the process.  Our agenda this year included various topics such as biomechanics in low speed motor vehicle collisions, electrical failures of the future, landowners dilemma: gun rights and premises liability in Wyoming, rise of micromobility and implications for transportation-related accidents, Wyoming case law update and consumer complaints.
