White and Steele, as a corporate member of the Alliance of Professional Women, is proud to announce:

Attorney Chelsey Burns became the President, effective September 2013.

Employees of White and Steele generously contributed over 25% of the items collected for this year's annual Alliance of Professional Women’s "Happy Hour" to benefit a local charity, which was held on June 20, 2013. This year's charity was The Excelsior Youth Center.

White & Steele helped raise over $60,000 to help women and children by sponsoring the Alliance of Professional Women’s annual Helping Women + Changing Lives Luncheon. Funds raised will go toward community outreach projects, such as providing meals at homeless shelters, college scholarships, and funding village banks in developing nations.

The Court of Appeals affirmed the jury verdict and award of costs in Chelsey Burns’ executive compensation breach of contract case that went to trial in January 2012, resulting in final payment to her clients of $2.4 million.
