Litigation Defense Attorney

White and Steele, P.C. represents businesses and individuals as defendants in disputes and casualty claims throughout Colorado and Wyoming, including real estate matters, construction defect claims, professional liability claims (legal and medical), and auto and trucking matters. We are looking to add two 1-6 year litigators to our team. The ideal candidate will have experience taking and defending depositions, briefing and arguing substantive motions, and second-chairing trials. Candidates should be admitted to the Colorado Bar. Total compensation (including salary, productivity bonus, and discretionary bonus) is in the range of $100,000 to $140,000, depending on experience level and productivity. A comprehensive benefits package is offered to all attorneys.

Workers' Compensation Attorney

White and Steele, P.C. is looking to hire an associate Workers' Compensation defense attorney with 1 to 4 years of experience. Candidates will handle hearings, prehearings, settlement conferences and depositions, and must be able to prepare pleadings and case reports. We offer a collaborative work environment and generous benefit package. Total compensation (including salary, productivity bonus, and discretionary bonus) is in the range of $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and productivity.

PARALEGAL

White and Steele, P.C. has an immediate opening for a full-time litigation paralegal to join our well-established downtown firm that offers a friendly, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.  The position involves supporting several attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process.  

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Candidate must have strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, ability to work both independently and with a team.  
  • Candidate must be proficient in gathering, organizing, and summarizing medical, employment, financial, and academic records.  
  • Experience in organizing and managing electronic and paper files is required.  
  • Experience with billing time through an electronic billing platform is preferred.  
  • Experience supporting attorneys in preparation for depositions and trial is required.
  • Experience complying with Rules of Procedure in scheduling depositions, IME’s, mediation, and working with expert witnesses is important.  
  • A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred.

We offer a compensation package in the range of $60,000-$73,000, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
